AIC	International Association for Colour
Color Group	An interdisciplinary society that draws together those concerned with different aspects of colour - its measurement, reproduction and perception
FOGRA	German research institute for the graphic industry and initiator of the ICC standard. Amongst others you can find ICC profiles for the standardized offset printing from FOGRA/BVD here.
Commission internationale de l'éclairage (CIE)	This commission has been developing the theory for the CIELAB colour space since the 1930s. This site includes information to the different CIE colour models and the publications.
